It seems like Atom Egoyan thought his last film, the brilliant and moving "The Sweet Hereafter", was a bit too human and accessible. This time out, the quiet cold blue morning light of dawning humanity that gave his last film such elegant humanity is missing. While the two performances here are fine, the material can't come close providing anything at all to latch on to - no humor, no sympathy, nothing. Even without the comparison, "Felicia's Journey" is a hard one to take. B-
